How to draw a cool dinosaur or robot the easy way

Start with big shapes. A T. rex is a big bean for the body, a box for the head and a long triangle for the tail. A robot is just rectangles stacked together. Sketch those shapes lightly with a pencil, then add the fun parts: teeth, spikes, bolts, lights and flames.
